Whenever we are at the Chiemsee we go to the "Maxl" at least once and have been for many years. So far we have never been disappointed. Price / performance is unbeatable. Very friendly staff and everything is perfectly organized even during the difficult Corona period. We will definitely be back.

The food was great, the staff super nice and accommodating. The girls here are only racing, but always very friendly. I am here more often because my workplace makes it a good idea to drop by for a beer and a bite to eat in the evening. The knuckle of knuckle was delicious, and the beef tartare is also recommended.

Very good food and a cozy, tidy and beautiful dining room. I had a bratpfandl with a mix of all Bavarian meat specialties and each of them was delicious or good as they say 😊 The beer is not to be despised either. Prices are completely ok. All in all, gladly again and again 😊

If you like it hearty and hearty, this is definitely the place to be 😉 in summer, of course, in the beer garden, which offers enough space to keep your distance. The hygiene concept is good and not really restrictive. We enjoyed the evening. The food was very good and also fixed on the table. The service was friendly and the drinks came quickly. The Radler is a dream and the Maxel Hell is now my absolute favorite. And that although I don't actually drink beer, but rather shandy. Even the other types of beer taste amazingly good. I am absolutely thrilled and can only recommend it. Real fans buy a glass with their beer, and gift vouchers can also be purchased. The playground is particularly noteworthy. Unfortunately my children are too big, they would have loved that 10 years ago. So you can confidently stop by with children, children also get their money's worth here.

We celebrated a birthday here in a small group. Despite the rain it was wonderful to sit outside, thanks to the excellent roofing, nobody got wet. Great. The menu leaves nothing to be desired, we ate excellent. A special thank you to the brisk and hardworking waitresses who looked after us in a great way. We will be back!

Very well attended despite Corona. In my opinion, the portion sizes of the dishes are too big (see dessert). In terms of taste, the dishes are great. The service was nice despite the many guests.

Great ambience, super nice staff, the landlords have everything under control and are just as nice as everyone else and the food is great at a very good price / performance ratio. You only have to be prepared for a very short waiting time. Hardly spoken and everything is already on the table.

One of my favorite places to visit in Bavaria! Award-winning beers, a solid and traditional menu, great food, and the summer beer garden is very relaxing. A classic of the region.
